Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- five plus years of restaurant management experience
- at least two years in a senior leadership role
- proven track record in leading high-volume, full-service restaurants
- strong understanding of restaurant financials including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting
- inspiring leadership style that drives performance and builds strong teams
- confidence in decision-making and problem-solving
- tech-savvy with restaurant systems and Microsoft Office
- bonus for experience with craft beer programs and high-volume bar operations
- ServSafe Manager Certification and responsible alcohol service certification or ability to obtain them
Job Duties
- carry forward The Tap’s reputation as FHG’s flagship while continuing to innovate and improve
- work closely with FHG’s leadership team to align with brand vision and company goals
- keep everyone inspired and accountable with clear goals, communication, and direction
- oversee front-of-house, back-of-house, and bar operations in a high-volume environment
- ensure top-tier service, food quality, and a smooth, efficient guest experience
- enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
- refine systems to keep the team focused and operations tight
- hire, train, and lead a team passionate about craft beer and hospitality
- mentor and support Assistant Managers and staff with regular coaching and feedback
- create a fun, respectful workplace where people are proud to work and grow
- foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and positivity
- lead by example to set the gold standard for service—friendly, fast, and unforgettable
- listen to guest feedback, act quickly on concerns, and turn first-timers into regulars
- develop strategies to elevate guest experiences during both weekday hangs and busy game-day weekends
- create and manage budgets, forecasts, and business plans with precision
- track key performance metrics and take action to keep your numbers strong
- handle inventory, purchasing, and cost controls
- collaborate with regional leaders to plan for growth and sustained success
- be the face of The Tap in the Bloomington community
- partner on promotions, events, and campaigns
- use social media and local connections to boost awareness and traffic
