Job Requirements

  • at least four years of progressive experience in senior hotel management roles
  • prior gm experience or company/flag experience required for certain roles
  • 4-5 year college degree preferred
  • experience in food and beverage and rooms
  • ability to deal with difficult people politely but effectively
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently
  • ability to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects regularly
  • ability to stand or walk long hours
  • ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach
  • ability to work under variable temperatures, noise levels, and around various hazards
  • willingness to work long hours often required

Job Qualifications

  • progressive senior hotel management experience
  • prior general manager experience preferred
  • 4-5 year college degree in hospitality or business management preferred
  • experience in food and beverage and rooms management
  • strong leadership and management skills
  • ability to communicate professionally in English
  • ability to evaluate and make quick decisions
  • proven ability to deliver profitable revenue results

Job Duties

  • oversee all departments including food and beverage, sales and marketing, rooms, housekeeping, engineering, spa, human resources
  • walk the property daily with key managers to provide mentorship and identify areas for improvement
  • engage with guests and staff to ensure a superior guest experience
  • manage budget processes and financial performance proactively
  • develop and inspire a motivated team through leadership and innovative strategies
  • communicate effectively with corporate and ownership to align priorities
  • serve as manager on duty to oversee daily operations
