Job Description

Lotus Hotels, an independent franchisee, owns and operates the AC Denver RiNo, a new lifestyle hotel set to open in May 2026 in the vibrant River North Art District (RiNo) of Denver. As a franchisee separate from Marriott International, Lotus Hotels independently manages all employment policies and practices, including hiring, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years hotel leadership experience
  • at least 2 years in a General Manager or Director of Operations role
  • experience with hotel pre-opening preferred
  • strong background in select-service or lifestyle hotel brands
  • proven ability to manage budgets and drive revenue
  • excellent leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency with hotel technology systems
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years hotel leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or Director of Operations role
  • pre-opening experience preferred
  • strong background in select-service or lifestyle hotel brands preferred
  • demonstrated success in hotel pre-opening, repositioning, or brand transition a plus
  • proven ability to manage budgets, drive revenue, and achieve financial goals
  • excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • strong knowledge of hotel technology systems (PMS, POS, revenue management tools)
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Partner with ownership and Marriott to ensure a successful hotel opening
  • oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of all associates
  • implement brand standards, operating procedures, and service culture prior to opening
  • direct daily operations across all departments including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, sales, and engineering
  • ensure compliance with AC Hotel brand standards, policies, and procedures
  • develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • drive revenue performance through effective sales, marketing, and revenue management strategies
