Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • ability to stand for long hours and work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • capacity to perform physical activities such as bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and walking between vehicles
  • strong customer service orientation
  • availability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • must maintain a valid driver’s license
  • must pass a criminal background check

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership abilities in a fast-paced environment with 40 plus team members
  • familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and email
  • ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • strong skills in team management and conflict resolution
  • experience in staff training and development
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to pass a criminal background check

Job Duties

  • Become proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill sets
  • maintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, and encouragement
  • provide regular feedback to each team member on strengths and areas of growth
  • create a weekly shift schedule balancing crew availability and budgeted labor costs
  • track and order inventory, small wares, parts, and equipment while controlling waste and costs
  • ensure appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change
  • work independently while involving the district coach when necessary
  • ensure crew compliance with health and safety requirements
  • develop new leaders within the team
  • implement and communicate directives from upper management promptly
  • delegate tasks effectively to facilitate efficiency and team development
  • handle hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions for shift leads and baristas
