Job Qualifications

  • College degree preferred but not required
  • Previous restaurant experience is a must
  • Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
  • Must possess a valid drivers license
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must agree to a background check

Job Duties

  • Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
  • Ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
  • Respond to guest complaints and take actions to retain dissatisfied guests
  • Provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
  • Maintain an accurate and ongoing staffing plan
  • Interview prospective employees following staffing protocols
  • Develop team members by providing ongoing feedback and conducting performance reviews
  • Create a work environment known as "the place to work" in the community
  • Enforce sanitary practices and maintain health inspection scores of 90 percent or higher
  • Ensure compliance with Moe's/Sterling operational standards and corporate inspections
  • Maintain professional image and appearance standards
  • Manage food flow to ensure quality, proper portioning, and low waste
  • Ensure security procedures protect guests, employees, and assets
  • Ensure a safe guest and working environment and complete injury reports timely
  • Manage effective shifts for smooth restaurant operation
  • Investigate complaints from mystery shopper reports and implement improvement plans
  • Adhere to Sterling standards for sales, labor hours, and food costs
  • Analyze monthly profit and loss reports and implement profitability plans
  • Complete financial reporting accurately and timely
  • Book one spirit night per month and maintain strong community involvement
