Job Qualifications
- College degree preferred but not required
- Previous restaurant experience is a must
- Knowledge of computers including MS Word and Excel
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must agree to a background check
Job Duties
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant to ensure guest satisfaction and increased profitability
- Ensure 100 percent guest satisfaction in areas of quality, service and cleanliness
- Respond to guest complaints and take actions to retain dissatisfied guests
- Provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues
- Maintain an accurate and ongoing staffing plan
- Interview prospective employees following staffing protocols
- Develop team members by providing ongoing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Create a work environment known as "the place to work" in the community
- Enforce sanitary practices and maintain health inspection scores of 90 percent or higher
- Ensure compliance with Moe's/Sterling operational standards and corporate inspections
- Maintain professional image and appearance standards
- Manage food flow to ensure quality, proper portioning, and low waste
- Ensure security procedures protect guests, employees, and assets
- Ensure a safe guest and working environment and complete injury reports timely
- Manage effective shifts for smooth restaurant operation
- Investigate complaints from mystery shopper reports and implement improvement plans
- Adhere to Sterling standards for sales, labor hours, and food costs
- Analyze monthly profit and loss reports and implement profitability plans
- Complete financial reporting accurately and timely
- Book one spirit night per month and maintain strong community involvement
