Job Requirements

- Proven experience managing a restaurant or similar operation
- Strong financial acumen
- Ability to train and develop employees

- Ability to coordinate with kitchen and operations staff
- Proficiency in inventory and point-of-sale systems
Job Qualifications
- Experience in restaurant management
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles

- Familiarity with inventory and cost control
- Proficient in using reservation and sales software such as Ordersmart and Opentable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze financial statements and prepare reports
Job Duties
- Ensure product knowledge of all sales/service personnel
- Ensure sales orientation/motivation of all sales/service personnel
- Conduct internal promotions and incentive contests as needed
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to maximize service/sales at peak times
- Upgrade information on competitive operations
- Monitor sales mix and advise trends, major changes and customer preference
- Handle all large party bookings to maximize service/sales in coordination with party planner if on staff
- Seek active membership in organizations/activities to help promote the restaurant
- Establish and maintain contact with chamber of commerce, hotel concierges and entertainment people
- Coordinate maintenance and execution of Ordersmart, Opentable and Aloha
- Maintain Web Site
