Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two to four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to speak and read English and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving several variables
- Valid driver’s license
- Certification through assigned IHOP training courses
Job Qualifications

- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to apply common sense and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Certification through assigned IHOP training courses
Job Duties
- Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with restaurant employees, corporate and regional employees, and guests
- Implement the Craft Training program for restaurant hourly employees
- Execute financial, marketing, guest service, and human resource objectives as defined by SOP
- Manage the restaurant floor and handle guest complaints professionally
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the unit
- Recruit, train, and retain employees and maintain turnover within acceptable limits
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and safety standards are met
- Maintain adequate levels of supplies and inventory
- Oversee maintenance of equipment, building structure, and restaurant premises
- Enforce sanitation practices and proper food storage
- Develop and maintain a safety program and ensure security practices
- Implement marketing promotions and maintain proper use of promotional materials
- Complete all required reports and paperwork accurately and timely
- Perform other duties as assigned
