Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates and promotes 100 percent commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests
  • Ensures that all guest related issues are resolved in alignment with company goals
  • Ensures rooms are guest ready, adhering to cleanliness standards and maintaining public areas
  • Completes daily room and guest ready inspections
  • Manages ESA brand standards and processes, pursuing continuous improvement
  • Oversees recruiting, interviewing, screening, reference checking, and hiring
  • Onboards and trains new associates including compliance with Best Day Ever and Extended Stay University courses
  • Drives positive work environment through teamwork and recognition
  • Partners with District Manager to coach and counsel associates
  • Conducts daily team meetings to communicate updates and hotel needs
  • Provides team members with tools and supplies needed
  • Maintains appropriate PAR levels and approves purchase orders within budget
  • Efficiently manages guest rooms and labor expenses
  • Responsible for cash management and timely guest payment collection
  • Achieves quality lead generation through proactive guest interactions
  • Upholds and enforces ESA standards and policy compliance
  • Ensures bank deposits follow company policy
  • Completes competitive surveillance including sales drive-bys
  • Reviews in-house rates
  • Adheres to federal, state and local employment laws
  • Performs duties across all hotel operations as needed
  • Directly manages an Assistant General Manager/Team Leader
  • Actively monitors guest experience and social media for timely responses
