Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must meet physical demands required of the role
- Available to work all shifts and weekends
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Good references
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to balance hands-on work with effective delegation
- Must be able to lead and train team members successfully
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience as a restaurant general manager
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Solid organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- Ability to lead, recognize, and train successful talent
- Conflict-resolution skills
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Job Duties
- Interview and hire qualified staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards and compliance with regulations
- Schedule sufficient staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow
- Manage labor costs to meet company standard
- Train management team and crew using current training system
- Evaluate employee performance and design development plans
- Maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships with management and crew
- Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as necessary
- Assist with crew member duties as needed
- Conduct crew and management meetings to discuss operations, promotions, safety, and training
- Maintain adequate supply of products and control inventory to meet food cost standards
- Maintain reports and records in compliance with regulations
- Maintain building and equipment with proper cleaning and preventive maintenance
- Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures
- Ensure personal appearance meets company standards
- Adhere to HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure safe environment
- Represent the company professionally and demonstrate its vision and values
- Perform other tasks as directed by management
