Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • valid driver’s license and good driving record

  • excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent communication skills at all organizational levels
  • proven ability to train and develop staff
  • solid organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
  • ability to balance hands-on work with effective delegation
  • good references

Job Duties

  • Interview and hire qualified staff
  • schedule sufficient staff to accommodate guest flow
  • manage labor costs to meet company standards
  • train the management team and crew using current training systems
  • evaluate employee performance and develop improvement plans
  • maintain a cooperative and harmonious working environment
  • provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as needed
  • assist with crew member duties
  • conduct team meetings to discuss operational procedures and promotions
  • maintain adequate supplies and control inventory costs
  • ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations
  • maintain building and equipment using proper procedures
  • manage cash handling and ensure adherence to cash procedures
  • ensure professional personal appearance
  • adhere to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures
  • represent the company professionally at all times
