Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- minimum 5 years management experience
- minimum 5 years functional experience in custodial or housekeeping management preferably in healthcare
- proven ability to lead and motivate teams
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in project management and compliance
- proficiency with data analysis and reporting
- strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years previous custodial or housekeeping director level experience preferably in a hospital environment
- strong leadership skills and ability to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion
- expertise in building and maintaining strong customer/client relationships
- ability to analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization
- experience leading committees and change management
- proficiency with computers and technology
- strong financial acumen and budget management experience
Job Duties
- have exceptional client service mentality and executive presence
- be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
- provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and work closely with the Infectious Control department
- partner with the Environment of Care Committee, Infection Prevention Director and other key members of hospital leadership
- effectively manage the Unit Operating System
- support a diverse and inclusive workforce
- maintain and inspect transport equipment, as well as related logistics, documentation and reporting
- create a positive patient experience by setting the tone and culture of patient expectations, including the provision of concierge transport services, through a compassionate bedside manner
- respond to and/or manage calls through the Service Response Center
