Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 5 years management experience
  • minimum 5 years functional experience in custodial or housekeeping management preferably in healthcare
  • proven ability to lead and motivate teams
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience in project management and compliance
  • proficiency with data analysis and reporting
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years previous custodial or housekeeping director level experience preferably in a hospital environment
  • strong leadership skills and ability to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion
  • expertise in building and maintaining strong customer/client relationships
  • ability to analyze data, present and effectively communicate to all levels within the organization
  • experience leading committees and change management
  • proficiency with computers and technology
  • strong financial acumen and budget management experience

Job Duties

  • have exceptional client service mentality and executive presence
  • be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores
  • provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and work closely with the Infectious Control department
  • partner with the Environment of Care Committee, Infection Prevention Director and other key members of hospital leadership
  • effectively manage the Unit Operating System
  • support a diverse and inclusive workforce
  • maintain and inspect transport equipment, as well as related logistics, documentation and reporting
  • create a positive patient experience by setting the tone and culture of patient expectations, including the provision of concierge transport services, through a compassionate bedside manner
  • respond to and/or manage calls through the Service Response Center
