Job Qualifications
- Preferred high school diploma or GED certificate
- prior experience in building or hotel maintenance preferred
- working knowledge of basic handyman skills
- skilled and knowledgeable in the safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- ability to follow through on assigned tasks and projects
- skilled in prioritizing duties and supporting team members
- ability to communicate effectively and professionally

Job Duties
- Respond to property maintenance requests and perform basic repairs
- take pride in property aesthetic appeal and attention to detail
- walk the property to remove debris and ensure cleanliness
- transfer trash and matter out of place to dumpsters or storage areas
- assist with unloading work and delivery trucks
- support setup and breakdown of meeting and event spaces
- assist with site setup and management of plants and plant materials
- assist with snow removal, upkeep, and clearing
- complete assigned tasks and routine services as requested
- practice safety in all work tasks in adherence to company standards and regulatory codes
- understand and follow OSHA guidelines and safe chemical handling
- know and carry out hotel emergency procedures
- attend monthly department and emergency response training
- communicate status of accommodations to front desk and housekeeping
- provide high-quality service and hospitality to guests, clients, associates, and management
- assist with special projects
- perform other duties as requested by management
