Job Requirements

  • A minimum of one year building maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good customer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions such as heat, cold, and confined spaces

  • Experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting

Job Duties

  • Perform regular inspections of the hotel premises and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other mechanical equipment
  • Ensure the hotel’s interior and exterior are well-maintained and in good repair
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues as needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
  • Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components and fixtures
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and hotel policies
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
  • Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
  • Recommend the purchase of new equipment and supplies as needed
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working order and properly stored
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure maintenance issues are resolved promptly
  • Assist in training and supervising junior maintenance staff as needed
  • Participate in meetings and provide input on maintenance-related issues
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with guests
  • Address guest complaints and maintenance requests promptly and effectively
  • Ensure that all guest areas are safe and comfortable
