Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Capacity to follow safety protocols rigorously
- Willingness to travel to job sites including overnight stays
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to company core values including safety and ethics
- Availability to work full-time including occasional evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months to one year related experience preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write English preferred
- Current driver’s license preferred
- Clean motor-vehicle record if operating company vehicle
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check
Job Duties
- Perform general labor tasks using power tools and hand tools
- Work quickly, productively, and safely to meet production goals
- Follow directions from Foreman and Superintendent regarding daily schedules
- Advocate and comply with safety policies and procedures
- Participate in job-site and safety meetings and company training
- Ensure job-site safety and traffic control with Foreman or Crew Leader
- Communicate constantly with operators, truck drivers, and laborers
- Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment and machinery
- Report equipment problems to supervisors or shop personnel
- Set up and tear down equipment
- Maintain a clean job site and secure tools and equipment
- Handle materials in compliance with safety data sheets
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
- Represent the company to customers and the public
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
