Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Six months to one year related experience preferred
- Ability to speak, read and write English preferred
- Current driver's license preferred
- Clean motor-vehicle record if operating company vehicle
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Pass background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel and stay at job sites as required
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Compliance with company safety policies and PPE use

Job Duties
- Perform duties with Sunland Asphalt's core values at the forefront
- Work quickly, productively and safely to meet production goals
- Follow direction of foreman and superintendent regarding daily schedules
- Advocate safety and comply with safety policies
- Participate in job-site and safety meetings and training
- Work with foreman or crew leader to ensure job-site safety and traffic control
- Communicate constantly with operators, truck drivers and laborers
- Inspect, clean and maintain equipment
- Report equipment problems to supervisor or shop personnel
- Set up and tear down equipment
- Maintain clean job site and secure tools daily
- Handle and store materials in compliance with SDS sheets
- Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors and vendors
- Provide excellent service as a front-line company representative
- Use a variety of hand and power tools
- Perform other general laborer work as needed
- Carry out any other assigned duties
