Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work various shifts including nights and weekends
  • willingness to follow safety and quality guidelines
  • basic math and computer skills
  • ability to listen and follow instructions
  • willingness to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • commitment to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • one year of experience in food processing, manufacturing, or industrial environment is a plus
  • ability to follow instructions and work routines
  • knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices

  • ability to understand and follow safety rules
  • ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and high noise environments with mandatory hearing protection

Job Duties

  • communicate effectively about safety and product quality in a team environment
  • report workplace safety concerns and take corrective action
  • promote a culture of safety and efficiency by adhering to plant safety and work rules
  • ensure compliance with all safety rules among associates
  • maintain organization of supplies and equipment supporting plants' 6s initiative
  • move pallets using electric or hand pallet jacks
  • palletize finished cases per specifications ensuring proper labeling, packaging and sealing
  • operate processing equipment including mixing and portioning ingredients
  • assist quality assurance by obtaining samples and ensuring products meet quality and GMP standards
  • complete production reports as required
  • maintain a safe and clean work environment according to GMP and Safety Guidelines
