Job Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures in both English and Spanish
  • Ability to perform simple math operations like subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate issues effectively to team leads and supervisors
  • Willingness to perform production tasks independently following supervisor guidance
  • Ability to meet productivity standards and report deviations promptly
  • Commitment to safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment
  • Ability to operate machinery and tools safely while observing security procedures

Job Duties

  • Work closely with bakery production supervisor to ensure daily production operations are efficient and accurate while packaging finished goods at budgeted cost and conforming to internal specifications
  • Enforce compliance with GMPs, personal hygiene, safety standards, and FDA/USDA regulations, including ready to eat proteins (USDA)
  • Collaborate in activities across different production lines
  • Maintain communication with all levels and departments of the food plant including team leads, production supervisors, maintenance technicians, QA technicians, and plant manager
  • Learn new procedures within production sections and maintain a positive attitude to collaborate with general labor associates
  • Respect and comply with all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Attend all required company training sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
