Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in maintenance or related field
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and vendors
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Dependable and professional work ethic
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities

  • Attention to detail focused on high-quality maintenance work
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills including experience with electrical, plumbing, and general repairs
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment

Job Duties

  • Complete work orders on a daily and timely basis
  • Respond to maintenance requests quickly to solve issues and minimize disruptions for guests and staff
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks for interior and exterior areas of the hotel
  • Inspect and service equipment and facilities to prevent issues before they arise
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities including completed work orders and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain all mechanical areas including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general infrastructure in a safe, orderly, and clean condition
  • Contribute to the hotel's commitment to providing the highest quality of service by ensuring that all maintenance work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
