Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Previous experience with large-scale cooking and food preparation/serving
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- Ability to perform mathematical operations using units of American currency and weight measurements, volume and distance

Job Duties
- Responsible for all general food preparation, serving and sanitation procedures
- Assists in the preparation of vegetables, salads, sandwiches and other menu items
- Assists in counter set-up and breakdown
- Assists in serving of daily menu items
- Responsible for sanitation in specific work areas and general kitchen cleanup
- Performs other duties as requested by supervisors
