Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (ged) preferred
- previous experience with large-scale cooking and food preparation/serving
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
- ability to perform these operations using units of american currency and weight measurements, volume and distance

Job Duties
- responsible for all general food preparation, serving and sanitation procedures
- assists in the preparation of vegetables, salads, sandwiches and other menu items
- assists in counter set-up and breakdown
- assists in serving of daily menu items
- responsible for sanitation in specific work areas and general kitchen cleanup
- performs other duties as requested by supervisors
