Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- valid Colorado driver’s license
- any combination of related education, experience, and training

Job Duties
- Operate cleaning equipment as needed
- use positive verbal and non-verbal skills when working with district personnel and community members
- perform work according to Facilities Department work order system
- direct activities of temporary employees
- respond to emergencies
- clean restrooms, vacuum, sweep, mop, wax, and buff floors
- clean chalkboards, shampoo carpets, and empty wastebaskets
- wash windows, walls, light fixtures, and furniture
- operate vacuum cleaners, floor machines, and other mechanical equipment
- set up and clean after evening activities
- substitute for other custodian positions as needed
- ensure security and lock up building at night
- perform set-up of rooms and equipment for special events
- clean body fluid spills
