Job Requirements
- Experience operating basic kitchen equipment required (slicer, chopper, mixer)
- Must be able to lift 25lbs on a regular basis and up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to use chemicals required in daily cleaning
- Ability to read and comprehend basic English required
- Uniforms as furnished by department
- Hair restraint as required in College-Union Agreement
- Meal breaks as assigned by management
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Qualifications

- Basic English reading and comprehension skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards

- Basic cooking skills for designated stations
Job Duties
- Prepare food according to recipes and product directions
- Assist with kitchen and serving area prep work
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, choppers, and mixers
- Execute limited cooking tasks including breakfast, grill, salad bar, gelato and toss stations
- Assist with lunch side items using grill and Fryolater
- Maintain production records and estimate food requirements
- Comply with food safety and sanitation standards including ServSafe and NSF guidelines
