Job Requirements
- evening shift availability required
- ability to perform physical tasks including reaching overhead and below knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- ability to move, lift, carry, push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods
- must follow company policies and maintain confidentiality
- complete safety training and certifications
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or g.e.d. equivalent
- less than 1 year of related work experience
- no supervisory experience
- ability to follow company safety and security policies and procedures
- excellent guest service skills
Job Duties
- perform scheduled preventative maintenance in guest rooms, meeting rooms and public spaces as required
- flip and inspect mattresses and box springs and assemble bed frames
- vacuum behind and underneath furniture and spot clean carpets and upholstery
- dust, touch-up paint and touch-up furniture while ensuring all necessary hardware and appliances are present and functional
- replace light fixtures and inspect and repair grout and caulking
- perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs and patching holes in walls
- perform general cleaning of all guestroom surfaces including tubs, wall tile, hard floors, walls, windows and mirrors
