Job Requirements
- lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each
- ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds
- regular bending lifting stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds
- engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
- standing and walking in and around the facility with great frequency for up to 10-12 hours
- ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation
- background check and drug test required
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions procedure manuals and safe handling for chemicals sheets documents generally in English may have in Spanish where state required
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good communication skills
- ability to follow safety rules and procedures
- basic reading and comprehension skills
Job Duties
- perform work according to standard procedure and building operational schedule
- clean rooms hallways restrooms locker rooms offices stairways and windows
- sweep remove debris clean spills and mop floors throughout sales floor and seating area
- regularly check trash receptacles empty as needed in all areas of the site
- collect consolidate and separate recycling into proper receptacles
- clean windows and mirrored surfaces polish stainless steel surfaces
- dust fixtures shelves furniture and equipment
- maintain cleanliness of customer and team member restrooms including cleaning and policing as needed
- complete sweep logs as directed
- wash walls ceilings woodwork windows doors and sills
- report work accomplished orally or on written work order to supervisor daily
- other janitorial duties may be assigned as needed
