Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in cash handling or financial accounting
- basic understanding of accounting principles
- strong numerical and analytical skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- good communication skills
- trustworthiness and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
Job Qualifications
- experience in hotel cash management or similar financial roles
- proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work collaboratively with offsite and onsite teams
- knowledge of general accounting principles
- proven track record of accuracy in financial reporting
Job Duties
- maintain the hotel cash machine daily
- audit and balance cash daily
- audit hotel-issued banks
- complete weekly change orders to maintain cash levels
- post monthly transactions
- prepare monthly invoices and statements
- post cash receipts and wire transfers
- reconcile A/R trial balance to General Ledger
- conduct aged trial balance reviews
- communicate with customers regarding collection matters
- assist with month-end close and special projects
