Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation or related roles
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- attention to cleanliness and food safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or BOH roles preferred
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- strong attention to detail and consistency when following recipes
- enthusiasm for artisanal food production and high-quality ingredients
- proficiency in Italian or a strong interest in Italian language and culture is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare gelato and sorbet in the lab according to recipes and brand standards
- manage ingredient handling, storage, and daily production schedules
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the gelato lab and equipment
- collaborate with management to ensure sufficient product availability during peak hours
- follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
