Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- minimum 2 years bartending experience in a restaurant, hotel or golf course food operation
- excellent customer service skills
- availability to work at least 4 shifts weekly, including possible doubles or consecutive shifts
- proficient in mixology and cocktail preparation
- experience with POS systems
- current certification in health, safety, sanitation regulations from Maricopa County
- current certification in Responsible Service standards for alcohol
- ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended hours when needed
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- minimum 2 years' experience in restaurant, hotel, golf course food operations as bartender
- demonstrates excellent customer service skills
- ability to work a minimum of 4 shifts a week, including doubles or consecutive closing and opening shifts
- knowledge of mixology and ability to prepare cocktails timely and meeting service protocols
- ability to work with POS system
- working knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations and current Maricopa County certification
- working knowledge of Responsible Service standards for alcohol and current certification
- willing to work nights, weekends and holidays or extended hours
- provide a positive example supporting the University's doctrinal and ethical statements and mission
Job Duties
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
- interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- work shift work and weekends, and public holidays, ensuring prompt timekeeping and attendance
- adhere to employee conduct, uniform and personal hygiene requirements
