Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in logistics or security preferred but not required
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Physical capability to lift moderate weights
- Strong observational skills
- Ability to use technology for logging and communication
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Comply with Federal Rail Administration regulations regarding safety and drug use

- Basic computer skills and the ability to use handheld devices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical tasks
- Open availability required including all shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Conduct inspections on inbound and outbound intermodal units
- Utilize handheld devices and/or computer systems to log inspection data
- Control facility access for vehicles and personnel, ensuring compliance with security protocols
- Communicate with drivers, team members, and terminal personnel to coordinate safe and efficient movement
- Support daily yard operations by helping maintain orderly flow and accurate equipment tracking
- Identify and report any damages, hazards, or safety concerns
