Job Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology
- Board eligible or board certified in internal medicine
- Georgia medical license or willingness to obtain
- DEA registration required prior to start
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- New graduates accepted through 2025
- No locum tenens candidates
Job Qualifications
- Board eligible or board certified in gastroenterology
- Board eligible or board certified in internal medicine
- Experience with outpatient gastroenterology practice preferred
- Skill in performing advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCP and EUS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain clinical autonomy while working in a team-oriented environment
Job Duties
- Provide general gastroenterology patient care including diagnostics and treatment
- Perform colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, enteroscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy procedures
- Manage outpatient clinic duties with an average volume of 15-18 patients per day
- Participate in hospital call on a 1:3 single hospital rotation
- Deliver telehealth and nutrition counseling services
- Engage in infusion services and video capsule endoscopy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to clinical decision-making
