Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- comfortable handling cash, credit/debit transactions, and POS systems
- must be able to lift up to 25-40 lbs as needed
- willingness to comply with alcohol and tobacco sales laws if applicable
- prior convenience store, gas station experience or fast food preferred but not required
- willingness to perform cleaning and basic maintenance duties such as restrooms, pumps, trash, forecourt
- ability to follow company policies and safety procedures
- basic math skills for handling transactions and making change
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- previous customer service, retail, or food service experience preferred but not required
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to stand for extended periods and perform light to moderate physical tasks
- willingness to be cross-trained and work both roles
- availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet customers promptly and provide friendly, professional service
- process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
- operate fuel pumps and assist customers as needed
- maintain cleanliness of the station, pumps, restrooms, and surrounding areas
- stock shelves, coolers, and merchandise
- monitor fuel and store inventory levels
- follow all safety procedures related to fuel handling and equipment
- report equipment issues, spills, or safety concerns immediately
- comply with company policies, cash-handling procedures, and loss-prevention guidelines
- prepare and serve Wetzel's Pretzels products according to brand standards
- operate food service equipment safely and efficiently
- take customer orders and handle payments accurately
- maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards at all times
- stock ingredients and supplies as needed
- provide fast, friendly, and accurate service during peak hours
- follow all health department regulations and company food safety procedures
- rotate between the gas station and Wetzel's Pretzels based on business needs
- remain flexible with assigned duties and work locations during shifts
- maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
- communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- follow all company policies, procedures, and scheduling requirements
