Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience
  • Five years relevant experience in a high quality, high volume, and multi-unit operations preferred
  • Two years supervisory experience preferred
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements regarding health and safety, sanitation, proper chemical usage, fire procedures and HACCP
  • Ability to maintain a clean, neat and organized work environment
  • Ability to follow all established processes and procedures
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and management
  • Commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of statutory requirements regarding health and safety, sanitation, proper chemical usage, fire procedures, and HACCP
  • Knowledge of all kitchen equipment operations
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, and guests
  • Culinary degree or equivalent work experience

  • Two years supervisory experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean, neat and organized work environment
  • Follow recipes and adjust quantities as needed
  • Display good knife skills
  • Season food properly
  • Follow all established processes
  • Communicate efficiently with all internal customers
  • Adhere to rules and regulations in the employee handbook
  • Rotate products properly in the walk-in cooler
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Abide by state sanitation and health regulations and hotel HACCP requirements
  • Fill out Sous Chef schedule
  • Perform other duties as required
