Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
must obtain a Parking Attendant License
expected to work in all outdoor weather conditions
required to wear a uniform and follow grooming standards
ability to stand for up to six consecutive hours
ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
must communicate effectively in spoken English

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
reliability and responsibility
excellent verbal communication skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
customer service experience preferred
basic mechanical skills a plus

Job Duties

Greet and welcome guests to the parking lots and garages and offer professional services
promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help
handle and carefully respond to all customer inquiries on the parking lots/garages with confidence
patrol designated parking lots/garages and identify vehicles without proper payment or permission
write and issue parking violations to parking customers and tenants who violate parking policies
document violations by photo using company-provided handheld device
maintain cleanliness in parking lots and common areas
communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards appropriately
flexibility to work at a variety of different shifts
stand and walk throughout the garages and/or lots for prolonged periods of up to six consecutive hours
visually inspect vehicles in garages and lots
physically access all areas in all types of weather
repair and complete general maintenance on gate(s)
assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment
wipe down surfaces, equipment and sweep floors
perform general maintenance of the parking lot and/or garage including pressure washing, power sweeping, painting, snow removal/salting as needed, basic repairs
pick up trash throughout the garage or lot
empty trash receptacles
perform basic truck maintenance including cleaning, washing, oil changes, headlight replacement, and other general upkeep
work independently and as part of the team
observe safety precautions at all times
perform other duties as assigned
