Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must support the Coeur d'Alene Tribe's vision, mission, and core values per CDA Resolution 015(2020)
  • Comply with all health policies established by the Tribe or department, including the annual flu shot
  • Must apply for, obtain, and hold in good standing a Coeur d'Alene Tribal Gaming Board Class "A" license
  • Must be able to write comprehensive daily reports by utilizing Microsoft Office Suite computer program
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work various shifts including day, swing, and graveyard, including holidays and weekends
  • Must maintain consistent attendance record
  • Must be culturally sensitive to a diverse customer population and able to interact tactfully and positively with tribal members, gaming clientele, and all levels of tribal staff and management

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of filing systems and office procedures
  • Proficiency with IBM systems including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to write comprehensive daily reports
  • Ability to work independently and be detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with law enforcement and casino staff
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply regulations set forth in the minimum internal control standards
  • Demonstrated team player
  • Cultural sensitivity to diverse populations

Job Duties

  • Monitors bingo/casino operations
  • Determines bingo/casino compliance with the minimum internal control standards
  • Prepares reports and supporting schedules related to inspection activities
  • Performs special inspections and investigations as circumstances warrant
  • Identifies deficiencies in the minimum internal control standards and recommends appropriate changes
  • May be required to receive public complaints and direct patrons to the appropriate bingo/casino official
  • Checks employee licenses on a test basis as determined by the compliance officer
  • Will examine, test, and inspect gaming equipment on a test basis as determined by the compliance officer
  • Monitor the storage, issuance, and destruction of gaming equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
