Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • one to two years of gaming experience preferable
  • knowledge of player management systems and Microsoft Office preferred
  • valid racing license
  • ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
  • must meet professional appearance standards
  • available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • ability to perform basic math operations
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • ability to interpret instructions

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Drive guest business through phone interaction and outbound telemarketing focusing on House Accounts and Development Potential Guests
  • develop players with VIP potential through telemarketing, in-person interaction, player events, personalized notes, and follow-up communications
  • maintain knowledge of marketing and player development promotions and encourage guest participation
  • assist in resolving guest opportunities or conflicts fairly and equitably
  • support Hosts with special events, off-property events, call projects, and floor coverage during high volume periods
  • assist in pulling and returning calls from voicemail and coordinate with Hosts on duty regarding comps
  • issue free play and comps for dining based on gaming activity and comp guidelines adhering to audit policies
  • exhibit a friendly and courteous manner when interacting with customers and team members
  • maintain confidentiality of player information
  • adhere to company policies and ensure compliance within area of responsibility
  • perform duties safely and report safety hazards
  • spend long periods on gaming floor engaging with guests and recruiting new player sign-ups
