The Macon Mayhem is a professional ice hockey team based in Macon, Georgia, competing within the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). The team plays its home games at the Macon Coliseum, a well-known venue that hosts a variety of sports and entertainment events throughout the year. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work all home games for the 2025-26 season including weeknights weekends and holidays
- ability to work at the Macon Coliseum in Macon GA
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- physical ability to set up and break down game materials and promotional items
Job Qualifications
- high energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
- strong decision-making skills and ability to make quick effective decisions
- availability to work weeknights weekends and holidays as needed
- previous experience in sports or event management is a plus but not required
- a genuine interest in the sports industry
Job Duties
- assist with game operations and execution of live game entertainment including anthem singers and in-game promotions like chuck-a-puck
- set up and break down intermission games and game day materials
- prepare giveaways and promotional items for game nights
- create a fun energetic atmosphere in the arena
- perform other duties as assigned
- encourage community growth and involvement with the team and organization
