Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- background in studio arts with knowledge of art materials and artistic processes
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
- strong organizational and time management skills
- strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- customer service mindset
- ability to stand walk and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- ability to lift and move artwork supplies or materials up to 50 lbs
- ability to work some nights and weekends

Job Duties
- Plan and execute main exhibits including scheduling and coordinating with exhibiting organizations
- manage promotional materials and facilitate exhibit receptions
- coordinate consignment of local and regional artwork including artist relationship building and artwork installation
- plan, coordinate, and launch quarterly classes and workshops selecting instructors and preparing promotional materials
- manage retail product assortment and inventory, maintain accurate pricing and POS updates, and assist guests to ensure positive retail experience
- oversee and maintain the gallery's social media presence
- partner with local organizations to increase gallery visibility and manage donations
- support product development by testing art materials and collaborating on new ideas
- create and present artwork samples for tradeshows and support artist programs including event participation
