Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Minimum five years of experience providing attest services in a professional services firm
  • Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and Public Company Oversight Board Auditing Standards
  • Strong communication and public speaking skills
  • Ability to build client relationships and provide excellent client service
  • Leadership and staff supervision experience
  • Willingness to participate in recruiting activities
  • Commitment to ethical standards and teamwork
  • Ability to travel as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Master's degree or other advanced degree desired
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum five years of experience providing attest services in a professional services firm
  • Knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards, and Public Company Oversight Board Auditing Standards
  • Demonstrated skills in communication, public speaking, client service, relationship building, personal development, collaboration, and problem solving
  • Initiative and adaptability
  • Highly developed Microsoft Suite skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the day to day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed upon procedures, and special projects
  • Identify accounting, financial statement, and reporting issues based on professional guidelines including U.S. GAAP
  • Provide recommendations for business and process improvements based upon knowledge gained relative to the client's operations, processes, and business objectives
  • Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client service
  • Supervise and lead the staff through counsel, guidance and coaching
  • Evaluate performance on client engagements
  • Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions and networking events both internally and externally
  • Assist with recruiting activities including campus recruiting and referring experienced individuals to the firm
  • Demonstrate excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards
  • Travel is limited but may be required
