Job Requirements
- Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook
- must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University in College Student Personnel Administration
- a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the last 60 semester hours of undergraduate work
- strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, both verbal and written
- willingness to work in a team environment
- experience giving presentations to varying sized audiences
- detail oriented, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
- ability to work effectively on several projects simultaneously
- ability to work cooperatively in a team
- technical skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- ability to work evenings and weekends

Job Duties
- Work with the employer and alumni engagement team to initiate and execute programs to enhance students overall career readiness
- collect and compile data and write reports on programs to be presented in the Career Services Annual Report
- co-create assessment instruments to assess program and event outcomes
- research and assess recruiting practices specifically for various industries
- develop program ideas to assist employers and alumni to support the career development of students
- develop outreach activities that encourage students to participate in Career Services programs and events
- facilitate in person and virtual programs and events by conducting pre event planning, hosting the event, logistical setup support, and closing the event
