Job Requirements
- A&P certificate
- minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance supervisory or equivalent experience
- proven ability to manage maintenance coordination and aircraft release
- experience with Part 135 operations preferred
- knowledge of Gulfstream G600 aircraft maintenance
- technical training in aircraft, power plant and equipment maintenance
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- ability to coordinate with multiple departments and external providers
- capable of supervising maintenance programs and ensuring compliance
- ability to produce detailed reports and shift turnovers
- authorized to release aircraft and remove from service as required
- RII authorization
Job Qualifications
- Must have A&P certificate
- minimum 5 years aircraft maintenance supervisor, crew chief, avionics lead or equivalent experience
- Part 135 experience highly desired
- at least 5 years corporate aircraft or regional airline maintenance experience
- specific experience or schooling on Gulfstream G600 highly desirable
- trained in DAVINCI JETS manuals compliance
- competent in creating, reviewing, updating and analyzing AD Status through regulatory web based sites
Job Duties
- Safely manage scheduled, unscheduled, and AOG maintenance requirements of assigned aircraft
- coordinate with Maintenance Control, Dispatch/Scheduling, Charter Sales, outside maintenance providers, FBOs, and flight crews on maintenance events
- convey high level of technical support to flight crews and outside maintenance providers
- apply and manage Minimum Equipment List (MEL)
- build, schedule, and release maintenance work orders
- schedule cleaning requests
- ensure accurate and timely information is conveyed with computerized maintenance programs
- communicate maintenance status to operations and sales for AOG and delayed aircraft
- oversee maintenance events
- execute airworthiness releases as designated by the Director of Maintenance
- monitor and ensure completion of maintenance requirements within governing time limitations
- collaborate harmoniously with Director of Maintenance, Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, pilots, outside maintenance providers, OEMs, and auditors
- provide shift turnovers and detailed reports to ensure follow-through on open issues
