Job Requirements
- ability to lift, lower, push, and pull furniture up to and over 100 lbs
- comfortable working with hands
- demonstrate craftsmanship and artistic aptitude
- knowledge of mixing paint and stains
- ability to repair leather, upholstery and mechanical parts
- ability to operate power tools safely
- excellent listening skills
- legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- aptitude for craftsmanship, artistic or carpentry skills
- ability to follow detailed instructions
- strong attention to detail
- good communication and listening skills
- ability to work independently and in team settings
- prior experience with tools is a plus
Job Duties
- repair upholstery damage and stitching
- repair and refinish wood furniture
- repair and restore leather furniture
- fix mechanisms in motion furniture
- operate power repair tools such as drills, sanders, and saws
- mix paints, powders, and stains to match furniture finishes
- lift and move furniture pieces safely
