Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- must own a box truck, cargo van, or pickup truck
- valid U.S. driver’s license
- vehicle insurance
- physical ability to handle heavy lifting
- able to navigate stairs and tight spaces with care
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in furniture delivery, moving, logistics, or related fields
- excellent customer service skills
- good communication abilities
- physical capability to lift and carry over 100 lbs with or without assistance
- familiarity with vehicle safety and maintenance
Job Duties
- Pick up furniture and appliances from retail stores or warehouses
- deliver items to residential and commercial locations
- provide white-glove service including in-home placement and light assembly
- protect items during transport using stretch wrap, moving blankets, and tie-down straps
- communicate professionally with customers
- navigate stairs and tight spaces carefully
- maintain vehicle compliance with transportation laws
