Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum three years of experience in athletic fundraising or donor relations
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and athletics functions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Teams
- Knowledge of budgeting and accounting practices
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance practices required
- Experience with event planning and volunteer coordination

- Experience in event planning and volunteer coordination
- Familiarity with Name Image and Likeness (NIL) policies preferred
Job Duties
- Support fundraising initiatives to enhance athletic programs facilities scholarships and student-athlete experience
- Cultivate donor relationships and assist in donor stewardship efforts including timely acknowledgments and regular communication
- Coordinate and assist with planning athletic fundraising and engagement events throughout the calendar year
- Work closely with the Director of Development for The Bears Fund and Senior Director of Athletic Development to solicit potential donors alumni and friends of the university
- Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations during fundraising activities
- Manage communication and coordination with volunteers involved in athletic fundraising events
- Assist in budgeting and financial record-keeping related to fundraising initiatives
