Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Understanding of labels and SDS forms for hazardous chemicals
- Two years of work or military experience
- Ability to obtain fumigation certifications and licenses pursuant to state or local laws
- Willingness to travel 50% or more overnight during peak season
- Ability to work overnight shifts as needed
- Willingness to be on-call during off hours and weekends
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to obtain state fumigation certificate or license
- Ability to obtain TWIC card
- Ability to obtain CDL with Hazmat endorsement
- Ability to wear respirator or Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
- Ability to lift, push, pull, carry up to 70 pounds chest high
- Ability to work in confined spaces and extreme conditions including heights up to 150 feet
- Background check and drug test including THC required
- Immigration sponsorship not available
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years of work or military experience
- Ability to obtain required fumigation certifications and licenses
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Experience with reading product labels and following all label requirements
- Ability to use electronic devices and software for recording and reporting data
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Assist with the complete fumigation process including sealing, tarping, and introduction of fumigants
- Conduct fume readings and aerate/de-gas facilities
- Use handheld computerized equipment to manage service and document conditions
- Read, understand, and follow labels and MSDS for hazardous chemicals
- Communicate effectively with customers as needed
- Inspect, maintain, and utilize personal protective equipment properly
- Follow OSHA and customer-specified safety protocols
- Use fumigation equipment and electronic devices for data recording and reporting
