Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 21
  • two years of cooking experience beyond fast food or fast casual
  • one year experience with elderly or frail population
  • basic life support (bls) certification or willing to obtain
  • ability to work full-time schedule monday to friday
  • pass background check and drug screening
  • authorization to work in the united states full-time

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of two years cooking experience beyond fast food or fast casual
  • at least one year experience working with elderly or frail population
  • basic life support (bls) certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • ability to work a full-time schedule monday to friday
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Job Duties

  • prepare various types of food including baking grilling stove-top and oven cooking
  • wash dishes and clean kitchen area to maintain hygiene
  • oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities
  • manage kitchen projects and special events
  • handle inventory management and supply ordering
  • oversee kitchen functions in the absence of the Dietitian
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
