Job Duties

  • Greet all guests upon arrival
  • assist guests with luggage to their rooms promptly when checking in and upon checking out
  • hail taxicabs and answer questions
  • provide guests with general hotel information once in their rooms
  • assist guests by taking luggage to the curb to meet their transportation
  • remove trash and maintain cleanliness in the lobby area between housekeeping runs
  • provide guest assistance and answer general questions when Concierge is not available
  • be knowledgeable about local community events and dining options to inform guests
  • submit lost and found articles along with a report
  • function as a doorperson as needed
  • deliver faxes, messages, packages, flowers, wine, and other items to guest rooms
  • ensure the "white zone" is kept clear for guest arrival and emergencies
  • notify guests about the delivery of automobiles, packages, or visitor arrivals
  • take on additional responsibilities outside of the job description as needed
