Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work a flexible schedule including evening shifts
- physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as standing, lifting, and bending
- reliable transportation to and from work
- clear communication skills
- ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- at least 18 years of age or older
- eagerness to learn and grow professionally in the food service industry
- knowledge of food preparation and dishwashing preferred but not mandatory
- ability to develop positive relationships with residents, peers, and the community
- willing to follow safety and sanitation standards consistently
Job Duties
- assist in food preparation tasks such as prepping ingredients and stocking the salad bar
- fill refreshment carafes and set tables in the dining room
- wash dishes and kitchen utensils to maintain cleanliness and sanitation
- remove trash from kitchen and dining areas promptly
- bus tables efficiently following meals to prepare for subsequent service
- collaborate with culinary and dining services team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- adhere to company core values of respect, kindness and compassion, honesty, and service excellence
