Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior retail work experience preferred
- must be 18 years of age or older
- ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- ability to safely operate equipment including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- ability to perform general cleaning duties
- ability to interpret company policies and procedures
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work independently and in a team
- ability to stay organized, pay attention to detail, follow instructions and multitask
- meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Job Duties
- consistently demonstrate the mindsets, aldi acts competencies and professional skills as outlined for the role
- process customer purchases
- perform general cleaning duties
- stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- provide exceptional customer service
- assist customers with their shopping experience
- collaborate with team members and communicate with the store management team
- provide feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
- participate in taking store inventory counts and monitoring inventory accuracy
- adhere to cash policies and procedures
- comply with company policies and uphold security and confidentiality
- other duties as assigned
