Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry products up to 45 pounds
- Capability to operate necessary equipment
- Willingness to work in varying temperature environments including freezer and cooler
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, bending, and standing
- Commitment to maintaining company standards and policies
Job Qualifications
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate store equipment including cash registers, floor scrubbers, cardboard balers, pallet jacks, handheld devices, and computers
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI policies and procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Organizational and prioritization skills
- Reliable and prompt attendance

Job Duties
- Model customer service principles and escalate concerns to management as necessary
- Inform store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products
- Use point-of-sale system to scan and process purchases accurately and report scanning issues
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Follow line policy and open additional checkout lanes to maintain efficiency
- Stock shelves and displays following merchandising planograms
- Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain zone and merchandising standards
- Assist store management with operational efficiency and loss goals
- Comply with company policies and processes
- Support a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment
- Adhere to inventory and product handling guidelines
- Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards
