Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail work experience preferred
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Ability to safely operate equipment including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber and cardboard baler
- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Consistently demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases
- Perform general cleaning duties
- Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Provide exceptional customer service assisting customers with their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly to management
- Provide feedback on products, inventory losses, scanning errors and general issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Comply with company policies while upholding security and confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
