Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior retail work experience preferred
- ability to stock merchandise and lift up to 45 pounds
- ability to perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking
- ability to work full-time 40 hours per week
- ability to follow instructions and multi-task efficiently
- must be 18 years or older to be employed
Job Qualifications
- Be 18 years of age or older
- ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- ability to safely operate equipment including hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- ability to perform cleaning duties
- ability to interpret and apply company policies
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work independently and within a team
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Process customer purchases
- perform general cleaning duties
- stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- provide exceptional customer service
- assist customers with their shopping experience
- collaborate with team members and communicate with store management
- provide feedback on products, inventory losses, and scanning errors
- participate in store inventory counts
- adhere to cash policies and procedures
- comply with company policies and maintain security and confidentiality
- perform other duties as assigned
